In our team, we are defining the architecture and solutions and, developing and testing the ECU security technologies  to secure the VW-group vehicle platforms.

 

What you can expect

As a functional security tester in our product security team, you will:
  • Learn the details of the security features implemented in the ECUs
  • Prepare the test environment, perform functional tests and document the test results
  • Drive the root cause analysis with the experts in and outside of our team
  • Verify and document the bug-fixes

This is what you bring along

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electric Engineering or a comparable qualification in the subject area

  • Experience in setting-up and performing functional tests in complex automotive systems

  • Ability to work with the necessary automotive tools, e.g. OBD, network simulation, update, etc

  • Ability to work with project related tools, e.g. issue tracking tools, excel, notepad++

  • Ability to perform efficient root cause analysis based on debugging data

  • Ability to plan and handle multiple tasks depending on the current situation in the project, e.g. prioritizing the tasks depending on the duration or availability

  • Analytical thinking and a strong personal initiative

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
